XVELA collaboration capabilities expand exponentially with the Ship Viewer – a shared representation of the ship configuration and container placement. This powerful visibility gives ocean carriers, terminal operators and other stakeholders more timely access to a common view of a ship’s stow plans. This actionable information provides the catalyst for collaboration to drive faster turnarounds, create new operational efficiencies, increase terminal productivity and realize untapped cost savings throughout a vessel’s voyage.
The Ship Viewer generates an intuitive, visual representation of the ship and container locations based on the vessel profile (from the XVELA Ship Library) and a BAPLIE file.
Once XVELA receives a BAPLIE file from either an ocean carrier or terminal operator, authorized XVELA users can immediately access multiple vessel visualizations (e.g., bay view, scan view, section view) to make a quick and informed evaluation of the stowage condition.
